Google is representing not typical approach towards human resource management. They rejected all serious demands to the employees and crushed all the rules. Take a look! The company denies official dress code and nobody controls when you start your working day at 6 a.m. or at noon. Everybody employed by Google is permitted to dedicate 70% of working hours to current business project, 20% – to be engaged in the project of your personal interest and to spend 10% of your time to whatever you want. The company’s founders believe that each idea that was born inside Google team deserves to become a worthwhile project and bring profit. And till now all their believes has justified themselves. While Google shares are among the most attractive ones rated on the stock. According to the financial reviews shares are ready to crack another new all-time high every day.

Introducing the concept of the “Ladder of Success” Mary Kay Ash (one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history) figuratively created the goal to the company’s beauty consultants and divided the way to achieve this goal on certain separate steps or stages. Climbing one stage after another brings a kind of reward and recognition. Thus, increasing personal sales either involving beginners into the cosmetics business can grant you with a diamond adornment and a complimentary article in the company’s newspaper or magazine. It is a direct hit of the marketing developers into the women’s heart, isn`t it? Enriching Women’s Lives! – says the company’s slogan.

P.S.: Don`t you feel proud that all this human resource brainstorming is just because of You – so intelligent and qualified competitor for the best working place – the object of millions of headhunters. Sometimes it is not so easy to find the reason and the consequence of the progress.

It is absolutely natural. Tens of thousands years of mankind history teaches us that only the strongest survive. I don’t want to argue with these corporate live postulates. I have just one question- WHY?

I mean that I know the main reason- we all need to eat something, at least from time to time, at least once a day. Every second of us want to have a nice car and the other good few consent to have BMW Individual Z4 Roadster. But what distinguish you from the million strong army of clerks?

According to the official United Nation’s statistics there are 191 different countries on the Earth planet. For me is the personal goal to visit at least a hundred. Ha, actually, I don’t really believe the I will be able to make this hundred, but  at the worst I can make the good start, ah? How do you think?

3. Take it easy

Diverse your schedule. In my office we have the lunch break from 1 till 2 p.m. usually it takes me about 20 minutes to go to our cafeteria on the first floor and to have something to eat. But I’m never coming back to the office for the rest of 40 minutes, till the break is over. And that’s not because I’m not paid for this 40 minutes or something- I just take that time to blow the steam off, to relax.

Every evening I’m going for a run, I’m visiting the swimming pool twice a week- yes I’m trying to keep my body in a good shape, but sport also helps me to drop all the negative. So put the event you’re really enjoy on your schedule, something your are really looking forward to each day, and every time your boss becomes really annoying- think about the relaxation munites are at hand and the business day will pass really quickly.

4. Diverse your working place.

I got married a year ago. And for the whole this year there wasn’t a minute I did not think about my adorable wife. And everytime I start think about her- my imagination brings me to some romantic place. So who will be the first one to guess whose picture I use as a screensaver on my computer?..

5. Create your mood.

The friend of mine likes to say: ‘Improving you mornings can do wonders for your afternoons.” After I read Steve Pavlina’s article How to Become an Early Riser I realized – that my friend is frightfully right. For more than 2 month now I’m waking up at 5 a.m. (oh yes, it was really hard for the first couple of weeks) and you know what- my daily productivity doubled. Every morning I spend two additional hours for reading the newspaper, writing the emails to the friends of mine. And I’m coming to the office fresh and in a busy mood since all my co-workers are sleepy and touchy. So develop you positive morning ritual and dispose yourself to the daily success.

You should just realize that this, too, shall pass: It might seem as if you will be stuck in this job forever. But keep remindiong yourself that you are in charge of your destiny. Search internal postings for new positions. Start your search for a new job externally. Don’t give up!

Have you ever been telling yourself: “ That’s it! I hate it! I heavily hate my office job!” Did you? I did. Everyone get tired with the annoying company partners, second shift, silly orders, limited internet access and God knows what else.

You can easily find the sites, like JobVent, devoted to the loved or hated jobs, and it seems to me that the last ones are in the clear majority. Just click on any company and read the comments to the company’s reviews- the are full of anger and hatred.

I don’t think that there is any need to show the numbers from the statistic

But what to do? It’s always hard to deal with the job you hate. In worst cases you have just to stand in a hope of better times, cause there are always the bills you have to pay and food you have to buy.

Here are 10 tips to help you to overcome the torture:

1. Fulfillment maintaining.

This is the most important one. You never know what is waiting for you the day after tomorrow but be sure that all the evil you ever did will come to light in a most inappropriate moment. So whatever is happening around you – you must keep doing your job and do it well.

2. Self-development

Whatever is being paid for supposed to be the article of trade- a cup of coffee in Starbucks, new version of Norton Utilities, a water park ticket… As long as you receive your salary- you sell all your skills, all your experience and knowledge to your employer- you are the article of trade. And the more experienced you are- the more expensive you are. Ok, you hate your boss and are not planning to stay in this office any longer. But what prevent you from self –development (you should read “increasing your cost”) while looking for a new job, for a better one? Use every opportunity for the personal improvement. Attend all the training courses and seminars your company offers to you- let you boss pay for your future added value. Just realize that by the time you quit- you should be the best candidate ever.
